From Local Fabricator to Tampa Bay’s Trusted Gate Partner
Based in Oldsmar, Florida, we proudly design and build our gates in-house, delivering high-end craftsmanship and innovative technology to both residential and commercial clients.
Florida Gate Masters began in the early 2000s as a custom gate and access control company based in Oldsmar, Florida. Officially incorporated in 2017, the company built its name on high-quality gate fabrication, access systems, and expert on-site welding. Known for reliable craftsmanship and attention to detail, we quickly became a trusted provider across the Tampa Bay area.
A major turning point came in 2017 when new ownership, led by Tampa-based Robert and Joshua Briesacher, acquired the company. With the acquisition came a renewed focus on integrity, respect, and a deep commitment to customer satisfaction. Rebranded as Florida Gate Masters, we set out to elevate our service and strengthen our role in the community.

Jeff Cornwell
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Born and raised in Tampa, Jeff Cornwell began his career developing hands-on skills under the guidance of his grandfather, working in the family fencing business from 2006 to 2015. Over nearly a decade, he mastered fence design, fabrication, and installation—an experience that laid the foundation for his entrepreneurial journey.

By 2023, his leadership and hands-on expertise had earned industry recognition, leading him to join Florida Gate Masters in a key leadership role. Today, Jeff brings his deep knowledge of custom gates and operator systems to the team—strengthening our full-service capabilities in fabrication, automation, and access control across Tampa Bay and Central Florida. Known for his technical command and customer-first mindset, Jeff leads with the same core values that define our company: honesty, respect, quality, and safety.

Josh is the Operating Manager at Florida Gate Masters, where he oversees daily business operations, project execution, and strategic growth initiatives. With a strong background in project management, sales, and marketing, Josh brings a well-rounded and results-driven approach to operational leadership.

David Jenkins
SHOP & PRODUCTIONS MANAGER
David is the current Shop and Production Manager at Florida Gate Masters, based in Oldsmar, Florida. With over a decade of hands-on experience in metal fabrication and project supervision, David plays a critical role in overseeing the production and quality of custom gates and access solutions.David began his career in 2011 after completing welding school, developing his skills in custom fabrication and precision work. From 2016 to 2021, he served as a superintendent, overseeing large-scale fabrication projects and managing teams across multiple job sites. In 2022, he joined Florida Gate Masters as Shop and Production Manager, where he now leads day-to-day operations, streamlines workflow, and ensures every gate meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. With a strong foundation in welding and proven leadership in production environments, David plays a vital role in the success of our custom fabrication team.
